Briana Cantos is a sophomore Electrical Engineering student at Florida Institute of Technology. She loves mentoring and helping her peers become better engineers as the Chair of the Florida Tech IEEE student branch. Briana is eager to collaborate with other innovators and can be contacted at bcantos2014@my.fit.edu.
At the end of Spring 2015 semester Briana was elected the Chair of the IEEE student branch and has worked hard this year planning events like the Region 3 IEEE Leadership Workshop, networking with members of the IEEE Melbourne Section and leading the technical team for the 2016 SECON hardware competition. For the Fall 2015 semester she planned a total of ten general meetings and has planned another ten general meeting for the Spring 2016 semester. Briana has been a part of the Society of Women Engineers executive board as the webmaster for the past two years.
