Will Papper, Washington University in St. Louis

Will Papper is a student at Washington University in St. Louis. He is double majoring in a combined program of Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology and Computer Science. He started programming at the age of 13. He co-founded his first online venture at the age of 14, which grew via word of mouth to over 5,000 users. In the past, he has worked at the MIT Media Lab and RetailMeNot. He is also a co-director of Bear Studios, an on-campus startup incubator. Will also attends hackathon, and was the winner of the Mil-OSS Midwest Hackathon sponsored by the Department of Defense, the National Geospatial- Intelligence Agency, and numerous defense contractors. He built a proof-of- concept web application that allows tank commanders to route convoys around threats on the battlefield using geospatial intelligence. He also attended the CODEX Hackathon at the MIT Media Lab, and built a censorship transparency tool called Glasnost that was mentioned in The Boston Globe. If you're interested in discussing technology or entrepreneurship, reach out at wpapper@wustl.edu.
