automotive industry, specifically the embedded systems and design and function of vehicles. She is a member of the Pavlis Honors College, pursuing the global pathway and learning about the problems our world is currently facing which was enhanced by having the opportunity to attend the 2015 Global Grand Challenges Summit in Beijing, China. Her involvement on campus includes the Young Women’s Leadership Program where she spends six weeks in training to be able to mentor middle school females at a local school district to set goals and build positive self esteem. She was also able to learn more about herself and leadership style at Michigan Tech’s LeaderShape Institute over the course of a week of winter break in 2015. Every day she awakens to a clean slate full of opportunity and strives to be a better version of herself and be the reason people smile. In her spare time, she enjoys trail running, experimenting in the kitchen, doing Pilates and spending quality time, filled with laughter, amongst family and friends.
