His passion for entrepreneurship followed him to college, where he serves as the Head of Events for JMU’s Society of Entrepreneurs. With this same interest, Chris works as the technology assistant for 4-Virginia, a collaborative initiative between four Virginia schools with a focus on increasing the presence of instructional technologies and shared courses on his campus. Outside of school, Chris enjoys playing music in a folk band, snowboarding, and being outdoors. He is excited to be a part of the UIF program at JMU, and is passionate about helping other students realize their potential to think entrepreneurially and change the world. |

Chris Ashley is a Sophomore at James Madison University, who is majoring in Finance. Chris got his first taste entrepreneurship in high school, founding his own electronics wholesale business in a friend’s warehouse. His passion for entrepreneurship followed him to college, where he serves as the Head of Events for JMU’s Society of Entrepreneurs.
