Serve as the Vice President of Society Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) chapter at California State University, Northridge. In this organization we emphasize in community service and providing Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM) awareness to every community. I have also been acquiring some industry experience as former quality engineering intern and planner & currently a product development engineering intern. My job is helping me a lot in teaching me and have experience in real engineering from concept of business. At the moment, I also play a big role in my senior design team as we are currently in the making of our Hybrid Layered Manufacturing 3D (HLM3D) machine which will have both fuctions as a CNC mill and a 3D printer. This will be our prototype which we will compete this semester against other schools. Finally, I decide to take a role as a University Innovation Fellow because I know it was meant to be since the start in the sense of innovation and entrepeneurship due to the fact that a lot of people are timid. I have a goal which is to exposed as many people as I can on these topics and to never feel fear on what their instinct is saying. |
