Bio

Felipe Becoña is a student at the Universidad Católica del Uruguay, currently pursuing a degree in Communication and Marketing at the Punta del Este campus. Described as a creative and organizational asset to team achievements, Felipe specializes in communicative tasks, as well as being an effectively social and positive individual which shares respect among coworkers.

Entrepreneurial projects in eco-friendly heating products and grills, restaurant service, and customer service at a pharmacy are some of the roles that have provided him with valuable skills such as teamwork, financial management, and adaptability. In addition, Becoña has experience in digital marketing and has completed a minor course in coding.

Bilingual in Spanish (native language) and English, which he has studied since the age of five, Becoña has developed strong intercultural communication skills. His engagement to both languages has been reinforced through travel and developed in studies regarding land management. This set of skills awakened his fascination with meeting new people, opening the doors to the University Innovation Fellows program.

Becoña is known for being a cinema enthusiast, having taken part in various productions as both an actor and director. He has expressed his desire to apply his skills in the field in the future. Beyond cinema, he is keen on training and personal development, sports, and has a strong interest in the evolution of artificial intelligence.
