<big>Arjun Chakravarthi Pogaku is an Assistant Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at MITS. He is a Master's graduate doctoral candidate from Asia University , Taiwan and alumni of Madanapalle Institute of technology and science. He became also a part of UIF Cohort in UI Fellow from MITS Spring 2018Cohort. He organized various activities and workshops related to design thinking along with his faculty champions and other UI fellows.</big><big>At The team took up an initiative to introduce Design Thinking as an open elective course at the beginninginstitution for post-grad students. Being an experienced UI Fellow and a responsible Professor, Arjun was an introverthe is the course instructor of DT. But things began to change when Apart from this, he met few people who inspired him to take his journey globallyis a dedicated research fellow, having expertise in wireless communications, focused on a new-gen device called Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces. With a lot of hard workAt present, Arjun he completed his training for his fellowship. He made memorable changes at his home university with the help 2 years of his faculty champion doctoral program and his student cohortpublished 5 journal articles.</big>
<big>His team was able to bring exposure to many students in the college about the learnings regarding the opportunities around the globe. Conducted Design Thinking workshops for almost 300 students in the span of 6 months. They also trained another group of students for the next fellowship program. They were able to introduce Design thinking into the university curriculum. They created a special UIF blog for ourselves to share the fellows latest achievements in the college. And also collaborated with the innovation cell to encourage the talented students with the technological projects.</big>====Awards and recognition:====
<big>Meanwhile*Ministry of Education (MoE) Scholarship for Ph.D. by Ministry of Education, Arjun has also started to spread his wings to the outer world*Taiwan. Top Class Academic Performance, Dept. He became a part of the Computer Science and Information Engineering, Asia Pacific Innovation Academy as a Student Entrepreneur in ShenzhenUniversity, ChinaTaiwan. After finishing his program at Shenzhen*University Innovation Fellowship (UIF), he started to work as a Virtual Intern as Blog Editor at Shenzhen BlogStanford University, China. This experience has improved his language skills and he was able to crack IELTS with a score of 7USA.5 in Spring-2018.</big> Cohort <big>In early 2019*Asia Pacific Innovation Academy Delegate, he was selected as a student intern for a research project at Asia Shenzhen University for a tenure of 2 months. His internship helped him to attain a masters degree program with a scholarship. At present he published a research paper on Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces, an young research topic in the field of Wireless Communications. He will be graduating in Mid 2021. He has plans to continue his research later onChina.</big>
