Overview

Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu is a Romanian public university founded in 1990 in the city of Sibiu. However, higher education in Sibiu has a tradition of over 200 years. The university's name is inspired by poet, philosopher, and playwright Lucian Blaga. The university is host to over 14,000 students in 9 faculties:

  • Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Food Industry and Environmental Protection;
  • Faculty of Economics;
  • Faculty of Engineering;
  • Faculty of Law;
  • Faculty of Letters and Arts;
  • Faculty of Medicine;
  • Faculty of Human Sciences;
  • Faculty of Sciences;
  • Faculty of Theology.
