Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Lina is pursuing a bachelor's in entrepreneurship and innovation at Menlo College. She jumps at any opportunity to engage with the leaders of tomorrow which has included leading a design thinking session on the Five Lenses of Innovation for 9th-12th graders at [https://www.designtechhighschool.org/ d.tech], as well as serving as a uiguide for the 2022 cohort.

Being both Swedish and Mexican she has embraced the ambiguity of identity and explored different avenues to find where she belongs through civic engagement. With this, she applied and was accepted into the ELLA program through the Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley to work on a 6-month project to empower non-profits that focus on environmental justice, as it relates to health disparities in the Bay Area latinx community.
