Bio
Jackson Young is a junior at the University of Southern California majoring in Business Administration. He's lived in six different states throughout his life and found his passion for business and technology after participating in robotics in Portland, Oregon, where he was also introduced to the UIF program through mentors and nearby connections.
At USC, Jackson became involved in Marshall's Business Technology Group (BTG), a group designed to spread design thinking and tech to the business community. He's since become president of the club, and is working with his executive board to expand human-centered design to his greater college campus and his LA community beyond through pro-bono innovation consulting. He comes to UIF with hopes of learning how to train members to better impact their community and gain resources and connections from experienced professionals.
In the future, Jackson hopes to pursue strategy consulting or entrepreneurship, specifically within the DeFi and cryptocurrency space.
Achievements
Jackson's academic accomplishments include being a recipient of USC's Dean's Fund Endowed Scholarship, the Oregon Regional Alumni Scholarship, and a 4-time Dean's List recipient.
