Hello! My name is '''Dana Bekdash''', and I am a senior undergraduate student at the '''American University of Beirut (AUB)''' in Lebanon studying '''Mechanical Engineering ''' with a minor in '''Bioengineering Design'''. I was born on February 28, 2001 and raised in '''Abu Dhabi''', the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where I attended the '''International School of Choueifat'''. In 2016, I moved to '''Lebanon ''' and attended the '''American Community School, ACS'''. Throughout my years, I have developed a love for certain hobbies that have come to shape me into the person I am today. I have always had a love for '''movies ''' and '''books''', so you’ll find me watching or reading something quite often. Also, I am a constantly active and hyper person and have been doing all-around sports for most of my life (including '''basketball''', '''gymnastics''', '''cross -country''', '''tennis''', etc.). I also love to '''sing ''' and '''play the ''' '''piano ''' during my free time, and music plays an integral part of my life. As for my academic side, I’m a naturally curious person, so I’m interested in learning about everything, but to narrow it down I am really interested in '''biomedical engineering''', hence the decision to minor in the field, in addition to the '''aviation ''' and '''automotive ''' industries.
