Brooke is a San Diego native who started at Utah Valley University two years ago, and is now a Senior. She is a Behavioral Sciences major who completed the Substance Use Disorder Counseling program at UVU, has six years of professional experience working with recovering addicts and alcoholics, and recently interned for Utah County’s Drug Court. She is the recipient of several competitive research grants, with projects focused on improving the justice system’s understanding of addiction. She hopes to use her UIF training to launch the Wolverine Fund at UVU this Fall.
