Nicole Green is a graduate Design and Visual Communications student at '''School:&nbsp;'''University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the Peck School of the Arts. Nicole is creating her own business centered on a mobile/web app called Ginkgo. It offers a solution to caring for elderly loved ones amongst a large network. The application originated from a class project '''What that means:'''&nbsp;An extension of the UIF work – push innovation and has now won several awards including the UWM Entrepreneur Showcase, UWM CEO 2 Minute Pitch Competition, entrepreneurial thinking across campus and UWM Student Startup Challengespread accross Milwaukee.

Currently Nicole holds a position at UWM at '''Contact her about:'''&nbsp;Pop Up Classes, entrepreneurship education in the App Brewery as a UIclassroom, regional meetups, designing learning experiences, connecting university to community, designing/UX designerbranding, maker spaces, roller derby. Other interests include cooking scrumptious mealsNicole is a former University Innovation fellow that graduated from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Her work as a fellow included delivering Pop Up classes, DIY projectshelping with space making, and organizing a large end of the year event called the UWM Innovators Expo. Additionally, she was the program manager for the UWM Student Startup Challenge. This role was to help organize and design programing for the Student Startup Challenge. Students enter ideas and we help grow the entrepreneur and idea. As the Program Coordinator at UWM Lubar Entrepreneurship Center (LEC), Nicole continues to connect students and faculty to entrepreneurial and design thinking principles. She designs and delivers interactive Pop Ups throughout campus. She also curates the experiences in the UWM Student Startup Challenge so that student entrepreneurs accomplish their dreams. The team at LEC creates a space to be collaborative, open-minded, rollerskating through Wisconsin and spending time inspired. We believe all students should be equipped with family problem solving skills, the ability to collaborate and friendsthink creatively and innovatively.  Nicole has attended the Teaching and Learning Studio at the Stanford d.school as well as served as a FAB member (TWICE) at the UIF Silicon Valley Meetup in Fall 2017 and March 2018. Before working at the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center, Nicole was a Design Strategist at Translator Design Agency, compassionate and always eager to learn something newUX/UI Designer at the UWM App Brewery.&nbsp;
