Rebekah Keely is currently pursuing cognitive science at Folsom Lake College. She has aspirations to transfer to UC Berkeley and push the envelope of research. Currently, Rebekah plays a role on the Folsom Lake College campus as Vice President of the Data Science Club as well as being the President of the eSports club.
She first got involved in the movement for innovation a year ago when she discovered our campus' planned makerspace, the Folsom Lake College Innovation Center. Immediately, Rebekah took the opportunity to become engrained in that community and eventually become an employee of the makerspace. Since then, she's been able to create multiple events and workshops that have been critical in building a culture of innovation on the campus.
