Learning Focus & Academic Growth

Shahid maintains a CGPA of 9.38 while steadily building strong foundations in core computer science concepts and programming.

His current learning interests include:

  • Data Structures & Algorithms
  • Programming with Python, Java, and C
  • Web development and interactive application design
  • Machine learning fundamentals and data-driven thinking

Alongside academics, he regularly practices coding problems and participates in technical learning communities to strengthen his analytical thinking and programming skills.

Innovation, Design & Global Exposure

Shahid is a University Innovation Fellow (UIF) candidate, a globally recognized program supported by Stanford University’s d.school, focused on empowering students to build innovation ecosystems within their universities.

Through UIF, he has:

  • Practiced design thinking and human-centered problem solving
  • Collaborated with student innovators from multiple institutions
  • Developed confidence in idea generation, teamwork, and innovation facilitation

As part of this experience, he attended the University Innovation Fellowship Meetup at the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands, where he interacted with global fellows and participated in collaborative innovation discussions.

This exposure allowed him to see how students from different cultures approach problem solving and innovation within their educational environments.

Innovation Initiatives

Shahid strongly believes that learning improves when students collaborate across disciplines and share ideas openly.

To encourage this mindset, he initiated Project & Programs Club, an innovation-focused student community where students from different branches come together to work as one team. The goal of the club is to create an environment where students can discuss concepts, work on projects, exchange knowledge, and support each other's learning journey.

The initiative promotes cross-disciplinary collaboration and encourages students to explore ideas beyond their academic syllabus.

Projects & Applied Work

Shahid actively explores new ideas through hands-on technical projects. Some of the projects he has worked on include:

  • E-commerce Customer Churn Prediction
  • Multiplication Game (Interactive Web Project)
  • Image Classification using Pre-trained CNN

These projects allowed him to experiment with machine learning models, web interfaces, and real-world datasets while strengthening his understanding of applied technology.

Leadership, Volunteering & Campus Roles

Shahid actively participates in student initiatives that promote innovation, collaboration, and community engagement within the campus.

He contributes to organizing student activities, technical discussions, and collaborative initiatives that encourage peer learning and creativity. Through these roles, he has developed skills in coordination, teamwork, and facilitating idea-driven conversations among students.

He believes leadership is not just about positions but about creating spaces where people feel encouraged to contribute ideas and work together.

Creativity, Sustainability & Human Connection

Beyond academics and technology, Shahid values creativity and meaningful human interaction.

He enjoys brainstorming new ideas, discussing innovative concepts with peers, and exploring ways technology can support sustainability and responsible innovation. Conversations with people from different perspectives often inspire new ideas and approaches to solving problems.

For him, innovation is not only about technology but also about understanding people, observing real-world challenges, and thinking creatively about possible solutions.

Vision & Outlook

Shahid sees himself as someone who enjoys brainstorming ideas, connecting concepts, and exploring creative possibilities. He is naturally curious and enjoys discussions that lead to new perspectives and innovative thinking.

Rather than focusing only on outcomes, he values the process of ideation — exchanging ideas, questioning assumptions, and experimenting with different approaches to problem solving.

As he continues his journey in computer science, he hopes to contribute to environments where creativity, collaboration, and innovation come together to generate meaningful solutions.
