Growing up in the small town of Barrow, Alaska, I always wondered what else there was in this world. My curiosity has propelled me to push the envelope by asking questions and always furthering my knowledge. I also always found it enjoyable to solve problems, whether they were the most simple or the most difficult. That curiosity and innate desire to problem solve has lead me to pursing a career in engineering.

I am currently a third year student at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, pursing a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering. My passion for engineering arises from technological innovation through research and design. I am currently interning at Hewlett-Packard in Vancouver, WA as a R&D Mechanical Engineering Intern and also serve as a Research Assistant in the Hydrogen Properties for Energy Research at Washington State University. Among my many passions, I am also passionate about leadership. For the fall of 2015, I have been hired as an Assistant Hall Director for the Community-Duncan Dunn Residence Hall and also serve as a treasurer/project manager for the Aerospace Club.
