Resource talk:Leading a Living Learning Community

I am a member of the Innovation Living Learning Community at Elon University. Therefore, I read this guide to bring some new ideas to our organization. After reading this page, one thing that I think would be a great addition to the LLC at my school is a mentorship program. Because most of the LLC members are first and second years, I like the idea of us being paired with junior and senior students who are either entrepreneurship majors or who just have a strong passion for innovation. This would be a great way to get advice from people who best understand the innovation opportunities at our school. Additionally, something that the Innovation LLC does at Elon that I have enjoyed and I think other schools might like as well is Shark Tank nights. All the members get together to watch an episode of Shark Tank and then we create our own pitches on the spot. This is a great way for us to learn from other innovators, to practice our own pitching skills, and to bond with each other as we learn and laugh together.
