About

VeraMarsova.jpg

Vera is a sophomore Bioengineering major with Chemistry and Nanoscience minors. She is passionate about bringing interdisciplinary approach to every day problem-solving. She strives each day to further push the borders between the disciplines and connect the dots where no connections are readily apparent. From day one she has been involved in research at Union, collaborating with professors, assisting student projects, and conducting her own research with a goal of pursuing a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering and becoming a life-long researcher in the vast field of regenerative medicine.

Having lived most of her life in Russia and been to over 15 other countries, Vera is also passionate about languages and cultures. She shares that passion through involvement with German club, Russian club and International Society. Ultimately, Vera hopes to one day work on a truly interdisciplinary international project for the benefit of humanity.
