Living in a highly technologized society, she always has been curious and passionate about technology and human behaviour. As a result, she followed her curiosity and became a communication science student at the University of Twente. Lena would like to enhance the overall educational experience by contributing new ideas and concepts from a student’s perspective. Her passion for innovation, design and entrepreneurship as well as the drive to make a lasting impact motivated her to become a UIF member.

Lena’s philosophy is this: Everything around us has been designed by someone. From the way we study, through the way we use our facilities even to the point how we communicate with each other. In other words, our modern world and university are simply the outcome of design thinkers who have the ability to shape the future of tomorrow. Being a part of UIF who are design thinkers just simply shows how that “great things in this world are never done by only one person. They’re done by a team of people.”
