Wanted: How Has Your Campus Handled X?

Uncovering the landscape of assets at your schools has raised many interesting insights about your ecosystem. Its raised even more questions about ways other campuses address some of the challenges and opportunities you've identified. The wiki contains lots of great information what other Universities have in their landscape and how students add value to their ecosystem. But, you may still have questions about specific challenges you see and how students have seen it addressed on their campuses. So, here is an opportunity to pose this question to your peers in the program: "How has your campus handled X, where X is the unique problem or opportunity you face on campus."

  • Our campus is a commuter school, how do you create community at a school where students leave at 5pm?
  • We have a world-class medical center, but no connection to student innovation... how might we create opportunities for students to learn from a real clinical environment?
  • We have very little industry surrounding our campus except tourism and fishing... how have other campuses created industry opportunities for innovation at such campuses?

These are real questions Fellows have faced. And, they have solutions that were successfully implemented. Pose your question here for answers, suggestions and connections to other Fellows who have walked in your shoes.
