Bio

Angie Kwon is currently a senior at Swarthmore College, majoring in Psychology and Art. She grew up in Michigan and then Seoul, Korea, and this has had an impact in her interest in cultural comparisons and social and developmental psychology. She is currently trying to read a 100 books this year, and her favorite that she read so far this year is "Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead" by Olga Tokarczuk.

Achievements

Currently, she is working as an intern at the Social Enrichment Center, where the main objective is to help children and adolescents build social skills for peer interaction. She is also working as a research assistant in the Cognition and Development Lab at Swarthmore College, where they are researching children's culture and gender expression. Other extracurriculars include working as a student leader at the Title IX office, student tech assistant at the Makerspace, treasurer for the Kitao student gallery, and arts section editor for the Review. She is also working on a large memorial project called the House of the Living, where victims of homicide in the greater Philadelphia area are memorialized on the side of a greenhouse. Lastly, she also plays the violin and is in orchestra and is part of the Amici piano trio.
