New Design Institute Announced at University of California, Berkeley!

There are many factors which contributed to the success of launching a new Design Institute at the University of California, Berkeley. While this is a high bar to set for students, the story of Jared Karp, Adam Eastman and their colleagues setting into motion a stream of events that led to the $20 million gift from Qualcomm Founder, Paul Jacobs, is one from which we can all learn. As rising Juniors in Engineering, the students were inspired by their visits to IDEO and Stanford's d.school. They set their minds on bringing the same level of innovation, creativity and design thinking to their engineering peers at Berkeley. Watch the student interview and review their nine-month arc of activities that has left a lasting positive impact to the entrepreneurial ecosystem at their campus: [1]
