Fellow:Parot Victor Charoonsophonsak
Growing up in the small town of Barrow, Alaska, Victor always wondered what else there was in this world. His curiosity has propelled him to push the envelope by asking questions and always furthering his knowledge. Victor also always found it enjoyable to solve problems, whether they were the most simple or the most difficult. That curiosity and innate desire to problem solve has lead him to pursing a career in engineering.
Victor is currently a third year student at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, pursing a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering. His passion for engineering arises from technological innovation through research and design. He interned at Hewlett-Packard in Vancouver, WA as a R&D Mechanical Engineering Intern and also serves as a Research Assistant in the Hydrogen Properties for Energy Research at Washington State University. Among his many passions, he am also passionate about leadership. For the fall of 2015, he was hired as an Assistant Hall Director for the Community-Duncan Dunn Residence Hall and also serves as a treasurer/project manager for the Aerospace Club.
