major heart problems and this caused him to have over a dozen surgeries, most of which were before he ever finished Elementary school. Although the government considers Nathaniel disabled, he considers himself to be very much on par with everyone else but he knows that he will always lose a foot race. Nathaniel is a non-traditional student that spent ten years working in factories before his health hindered his ability to work. Being unable to work left him unfulfilled so he enrolled in college and has begun the journey of realizing his potential. His purpose comes from raising three daughters with his wife, Liz. He wants to prove to his children that obstacles are meant to be overcome and that if you have vision, you can accomplish anything.
