Passionate about education equity and equality, Will Walker, a junior at the University of Richmond explores his passions through a leadership studies and English double major while minoring in gender studies. Will is currently exploring the ways that discrimination and inequality impact marginalized communities in higher education settings. On a typical “academic day” he can be found reading about financial aid policies, admissions criteria, and the social environments of public and private American institutions. Outside of his academic interest, Will also has a passion for creative processes such as writing, photography and digital design. He is the current editor in chief of Forum Magazine, a student publication of the University of Richmond, and he actively writes and designs for a number of other university publications and platforms.

In addition to serving as a Univeristy Innovation Fellow, Will works as a resident assistant and a student intern in the office of undergradate admission. He also serves a senttor for the Richmond College Student Goverment Association at the Uniersity of Richmond. Will inspires others to make and lead change. Active across a varitey of platforms, Will is a servant leader, a scholar and activist.
