Sarah C. Smith
Sarah Christine Smith is a University Innovation Fellow and is an undergraduate at South Plains College (SPC). From 3rd grade until junior high, Sarah wanted to become a pediatric doctor so she could help kids that struggled with health problems like herself. Since then, she realized that she prefers mathematics over biology and can help the kids in a different kind of way through electrical engineering.
Sarah was raised in Seminole, Texas by her mother, Rita Smith, and attended Seminole High School where she was involved with the National Honor Society, art club, and the SHS Band Leadership as their historian for two years. Now, at SPC, she is involved with the Student Government Association as their historian and Students Entrepreneurs After Real Change (SEARCh). One thing that everyone learns about Sarah is her love for animals, especially cats. She is also a lover of the arts, music, and when time permits, video games.
