life. His diverse impact includes conducting internationally-recognized cancer research featured at Intel's International Science & Engineering Fair, empowering persecuted Christian students on the ground in East Asia, and fighting the global water crisis in the African nation of Swaziland by launching "Walk for Clean Water"—a student-led, non-profit initiative that has raised over $95,000 since 2016, giving over 5,000 people clean water for life.

Currently a junior at Penn State, Michael is currently pursuing his self-designed major, Values-Driven Product Design, and learning Mandarin Chinese at Penn State. Beyond the classroom, Michael co-founded Loancrunch, a platform that lets students and grads understand, manage, and repay their loans all in one place. Passionate about education, he founded Students Teaching Students at Penn State, an organization that lets undergraduate students design and teach their own courses with supervision of a faculty mentor. In addition, he informs campus administrators on policy matters as a member of Penn State’s Presidential Leadership Academy and mentors students through his campus ministry, Cru.

For fun, Michael loves spending time with friends, making puns and impressions, and eating pasta. He's excited about the future and is always happy to chat with other students and innovators, wherever they may be!
