Dan Daffinrud is an undergraduate student at the University of North Dakota studying Accountancy. In the past few years, Dan has had the opportunity to participate in several extracurricular activities such as student hall government, Business and Public Administration Student Advisory Council and Dakota Venture Group. Within Dakota Venture Group, the first student-ran venture capital fund, Dan has held several positions including Chairman of the organization. He currently serves as the organization's Chairman Emeritus, which is an advisory position responsible for guidance and education to the new members. Also, he continues to serve as a board observer for one of the fund's portfolio companies. Dan is interested in the unmanned systems industry, and is working on a startup of his own in that space. In addition to the aforementioned activities, Dan is a James Ray Intern at the Center for Innovation, where he aids other startup's looking to grow.
