Beta Boxes are customizable to the space that they are in, and can be adjusted to fit the specific needs of UC Merced's campus. Because they have been pre-built and exist in standalone containers, they are also easily implementable and can be introduced immediately. Finally, Beta Boxes address limited space concerns in that no new buildings or existing space needs need to be built in order to implementa maker space. Regardless of whether UC Merced chooses to utilize the Beta Box, Betaversity 's consultation will be an invaluable resource for developing UC Merced's maker space.
