Many faculty allow students to collaborate on their researchHowever, which creates many faculty members do some type of research opportunities at and within Grand Valleyor project. If However, faculty with research/projects are pursing research, their limited to a course load will be limited to of three total courses per a semester.</span></span></span>

With its prime location at the heart of West Michigan, <span style="font-size:small;"><span id="docs-internal-guid-1459b6a4-7fff-de3a-4503-460e45b18bf9"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Grand Valley works with the Van Andel Global Trade Institute Muskegon Innovation Hub, Lend GR, and the West Michigan Science and Technology Initiative through both Grand Rapids and Muskegon SmartZone many small companies supplying funds or student interns to promote local economic development. Grand Valley also supports a number of charter schools throughout the state of Michigan.&nbsp;</span></span></span>
