The present situation in regards to innovation Though we do not have as many resources on campus has made this something that is non-existent as well. There are no research parks, innovation hubsother schools, or anything of we have the sort on campus. However the Math and Engineering department are in the process of writing Maker Space! This is a grant proposal room set aside for a new facility on campus for STEM majors to come together in innovation, collaboration, and prototyping. This will be room was made possible by the perfect place for Fellows at SPC. So far this room has been used as an example to faculty of what a maker-space mobile classroom can look like. Also, it is full of prototyping materials which allows S.E.A.R.Ch club to take hold and will set the groundwork for establishing policies in regards to the Technology Transfer Function indicated abovedesign thinking workshops at least once per semester.&nbsp We are hoping that this room will create a spark amoungst the entire school and eventually lead to collaborating with industry.
