EPICS encourages partnerships instead of projects. Some projects for a partner will last several semesters and have many different students working on it. This method allows community pa<span style="font-size:smaller;"></span>rtners partners to have more control over what they need help with and projects are often seen through to completion. Partners also have the ability to fire students. In this way EPICS is inclusive to community partners, gives them a voice, and provides real value. <span style="font-size:small;"></span>
