<span style="font-size:large;">[[File:Shruthi shankar profile.jpeg]]Shruthi Shankar is a junior at the University of Pittsburgh and a member of the Spring </span><span style="font-size: large;">&nbsp;2017 University&nbsp;Innovation Fellows cohort. Shruthi is involved in recruiting activities with the University Honors College, serves on the student governing organization of the Pitt Alumni Association, and has participated in Pitt's Innovation Institute's annual Randall Family Big Idea &nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: large;">Competition.</span>

<span style="font-size: large;">Aside from her extracurricular activities, Shruthi is a neuroscience major and works in an immunology research lab. Her research interests involve mediating hypercoagulatory responses and inflammation, </span><span style="font-size: large;">&nbsp;especially in regards to cancer immunotherapy.
