<span style="font-size: small; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Joel Cazares is a University Innovation Fellow candidate from the Fall 2015 cohort. He is an industrial engineering and foreign languages </span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">student [[File:JoelCazares.jpg|thumb|JoelCazares.jpg]]at </span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">New </span><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;">Mexico State University. He was born and raised in Hatch, New Mexico. Joel is very passionate about STEM education and is always looking for ways to excite and motivate high-school students to pursue a degree in engineering. He is a student assistant for the College of Engineering and helps with the college’s outreach programs, which include two robotics competitions and multiple summer camps. </span>
