Lauren Annes is a third-year engineering student at the University of Michigan. She believes that her Computer Science and Industrial Engineering [[File:Laurenannes.jpeg|thumb|Laurenannes.jpeg]]coursework is teaching her a way of thinking and problem solving that will be fundamental to her future, whether or not she chooses to practice engineering.
She is intrigued by the unsolvable and firmly believes that there is a morally sound solution to every obstacle encountered. Lauren is captivated by complex issues and is willing and eager to work hard to come up with solid and lasting answers – this is probably why entrepreneurship excites her so much.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys waterskiing, scuba diving and being outside. She loves to learn and try new things, spend time with her family and friends and to travel. Lauren can be reached by email at lauren.a.annes@gmail.com.
