<pstyle="text-align: right;">Jonathan [[File:Jon Cook and G.jpeg|frame]]</p>&nbsp; &nbsp; Jon Cook is a senior at an alumni of Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI pursuing studies who graduated with a double major in Financeand Accounting. &nbsp; &nbsp; Despite having spent 4 years studying Accounting, Accounting Jon promises he is more exciting than your stereotypical accountant. Outside of class and Management Information Systemshomework, Jon has developed the Technology Showcase on Grand Valley's campus. As much as he enjoys his time learning in It is a space that allows students to interact with cutting edge technologies like the classroomMicrosoft HoloLens, HTC Vive, 3D printers, etc, Jonathan’s curiosity drives him . Jonathan's senior thesis was an introduction to further his education outside Design Thinking, active citizenship, and team building that will be rolled out to the ~300 incoming freshman that Grand Valley receives each year in its Honors College as a part of the university setting#UIFresh initiative. He has started self-teaching basic programing and design This project was honored at an awards ceremony at the end of the year for it's innovative approach to become better equipped to find sustainable solutions for the world’s most wicked problemsstudent involvement across campus. &#160nbsp;</p><p>Currently, Jonathan &nbsp; &nbsp; Jon currently works at Google. One of his favorite projects that he is working on is coordinating a fullhackathon-time intern esque competition for Googlers around the globe. In the past, Jon has worked with Google in place Seamless, an Internet of his position as a full time student at Grand ValleyThings Accelerator, to help six teams from around the world commercialize their products. He plans Jon assisted Dogtelligent in raising $600,000 to return next year to finish his degreehelp man's best friend live a happier, although the future is full healthier life. Jon also dropped out of possibilities… especially with school for a brand new incubator in West Michigan semester to intern at Google.
