We propose establishing a "Campus Sustainability Workshop Series" as part of a new student-led Sustainability Club at South Plains College. This club will host interactive workshops throughout the semester, open to all students eager to make an impact on campus safety and sustainability. Topics will include solar energy, waste reduction, water conservation, and eco-friendly campus improvements, with a particular focus on projects like solar-powered lighting to enhance campus safety. These workshops will equip students with practical skills and inspire them to foster a greener, more connected, and eco-conscious SPC community.
