==Bio==
Originally from Las Vegas, Nevadaand now residing in Palo Alto, CA, Lina is pursuing a bachelor's in entrepreneurship and innovation at Menlo College. Lina works to raise awareness about climate change, animal cruelty, and the health benefits of a plant-based diet by founding [https://www.linkedin.com/company/veg-club The Veg Club] at Menlo College. 🌱 She is also a University Innovation Fellow through Stanford's d. School, Brand Ambassador at Eclipse Foods, a vegan ice cream startupstartup🍦, and is interning this summer as a Content Marketing Specialist at [https://helloprenup.com/ HelloPrenup]. πŸ’
She jumps at any opportunity to engage with the leaders of tomorrow which has included leading a design thinking session on the Five Lenses of Innovation for 9th-12th graders at [https://www.designtechhighschool.org/ d.tech], as well as serving as a uiguide for the 2022 cohort.
Being both Swedish πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ and Mexican πŸ‡²πŸ‡½ she has learned to embraced the ambiguity of identity and explored different avenues to find where she belongs through civic engagement. With this, she applied and was accepted into the ELLA program through the Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley to work on a 6-month project to empower non-profits that focus on environmental justice, as it relates to health disparities in the Bay Area latinx community.
Lina is passionate about social impact and how we can leverage these exciting new technologies with human-centered design.
