1. Entrepreneurship Conference - Fall 2014 - Already in the planning
Working with the Office of Entrepreneurship, the School of Business, School of Visual and Performing Arts, the Office of the President
Planning an event to bring together alumni that are entrepreneurs in order to connect them with the students, one day conference to both bring alumnae back to the school and connect with each other and for them to connect with the students. Estimated around 250 people. Save the dates will be put out soon. The event will happen in September 2014, the weekend of the first football game.
2. Continue the Create-A-Thons, base if off of the first StartUp Studio
The first one was very successful, so create ones that are not just brainstorming sessions but are also sessions to create things - engineering, designers, etc.
Allow this to happen routinely and bring in different groups of people
3. Make something to get all the organizations and events in one location
Create a site - a way for all the things going on around campus, all the resources to be in one place ( similar to the ecosystem ) but open to everyone - accessible and easy to get to
4. Design/Engineering/Creativity Course
Help implement a course for all majors, all disciplines, that does not have much regulation, is open to a lot of different students and different ideas.
