Overview
AIESEC is a platform to explore the global pool of opportunities, where they provide young people with the opportunity to work on professional internships in different streams like management, leadership, organizing and IOT projects. They develop youth leadership by facilitating social development and professional internships.
Purpose
Providing young people with global opportunities of internships to explore and connect with some of the brightest and most ambitious young minds from around the world.
Distinct Differences From Other Offerings
They recruit twice in a year (February and August) to join in their 2500 members across 27 local offices in India. Young leaders present in 122 countries are striving to create and facilitate opportunities for young people which make AIESEC distinct from others. They provide accommodation to students for an affordable price. They also let students to work as volunteer locally in social projects conducted by largest youth organizations in the world. AIESEC provides a chance to be a host for an international intern who comes to India. Student can create lifetime connections and learn different cultures without leaving home.
Impact Achieved For Students and Campus
Students experience different cultures. They will get to know how the outer world is and they will find a new society and meet people of different cultures and understand the education system is in abroad. And for campus is fame and it's a good thing for campus too if many students are doing internships in foriegn countries. It's an incredible opportunity to expand campus' network.
Notes About How This Resource is Deployed
As we already had an interview with them they need to know that our campus students are interested in doing internships in abroad. We need to submit the number for them, if they are pleased with our count they will setup a cell or a blog to register. Cost of each students's application is Rs.15,000 and they charge Rs.16000 for for 2-3 months accomodation. They also give stipend for interns.
Steps Required To Bring Resource to Campus
Our campus students who are innovative and interested to explore and gain knowledge from different fields can apply. Steps required to bring the resource to campus:
1. They have to visit the campus and conduct workshops to know how many students are interested to do internships and to explore.
2 Tthey will send the 3-5 people for the experience and for the feedback how the AISEC performance is .if the feedback was good they will discuss with the administration
3.Our institution was a government funding institution and with large number of students the administration will ask for the fee compensation
4. if the things wel happen they will setup the AISEC cell beside our college or in the campus based on the permissions from the institution
