Campus Overview:
Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science is established in 1998 in the picture square and pleasant environ of Madanapalle and is ideally located on a sprawling 30 acre campus on Madanapalle Anantapur Highway(NH-205) near Angallu,about 10 km away from Madanpalle is governed by a progressive management that never rests on laurels and has been striving conscientiously to develop it as one of the best centres of Academic Excellence in India. The Institution’s profile is firmly based on strategies and action plans that match changing demands of the nation and the student’s fraternity. To foster a culture of excellence in research, innovation, entrepreneurship, rational thinking and civility by providing necessary resources for generation, dissemination and utilization of knowledge and in the process, create an ambience for practice-based learning to the youth for success in their careers.
1.Promoting student innovation and entrepreneurship:
MITS mainly concentrates on the inspiration, motivation classes so as to develop the students in terms of thinking innovatively. It established many events related career guidance,Personality development and motivation. While coming to the ENTREPRENEURSHIP our college hasEntrepreneur Development cell which was established in july 2010 and I&E cell that has established in 2015 november,which has been encouraging students in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship. These cells provides students workshops related to entrepreneurship and motivate the students to gain the entrepreneurial mindset. ED cell has introduced some of the events like DIYA [Dynamic Ideas by Young Aspirants] in order to encourage startup ideas of students, where excelled ideas are funded by reputed funding agencies. Many clubs are established so as to develop the skills among the students like English club,Technical club,arts club etc.These clubs acts like an interface between students and their talents by conducting many workshops and technical events in many departments like Photon, Eclectica, Mechonance, Tera etc.Through this competitions they actually provides the students with great competitive minds.
2.Encouraging faculty innovation and entrepreneurship:
