Veronica Soto is a University Innovation Fellow and a senior pursuing a dual degree in Industrial Engineering and International Studies at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). She is originally from Venezuela and resides in Puerto Rico but goes to school in Worcester, MA. She is extremely passionate about helping others and learning about new cultures which is why she is studying International Studies in addition to her engineering degree. She would love to bring a more humanitarian approach to her engineering career and work on projects around the world.

At WPI, she is involved with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and the Global Humanitarian Alliance. Furthermore, she works as a staff member for the Office of Multicultural Affairs on campus. She is interested in improving the entrepreneurial mindset in her campus as well as being more entrepreneurial herself.
