Mohamed is currently an Aerospace Engineering student at Wichita State University, Kansas. Before attending his current university he attended 5 semesters at Emporia State University for a Physics degree, which he is expected to graduate with by May 2017. Mohamed was born and raised on the mediterranean city of Alexandria, Egypt and moved at the age of 17 to pursue his studies in the US. 

Mohamed has been working as an independent full stack web developer since the age of 15 with various large-scale clients such as Vodafone Telecom and Marist College of New York, but has developed a niche in managing web & design portfolios for small budding startups. He likes to regularly attend Hackathons and technology events and is continuosly involved in the Wichita area innovation and entrepreneurship community.

Before starting university, Mohamed was a member of and fulfilled various leadership roles in Interact, Rotary International's youth program, and in AIESEC, the international volunteer exchange program. As a student, he has been a member with different leadership roles in Alpha Kappa Lambda fraternity, the Interfraternity Council, THRIVE sexual assault peer education program, the American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics and the Wichita State Rocket Club.
