Christine Maida is from Chicago Illinois. She grasuated from Lockport Township High Schoool and is now an engineering student at Saint Louis University. She is working on her Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Enginering. She is currently working on a desgn team that is sponsored through Parks College of Engineering. Her design team is working on redesigning the slow bio sand filter for developing communities around the world. She has been awarded the iScholar of Excelence award and has been recognized at the Lawerence Technological University Innovation Encounter for her teams innovation design challenge submission. Christine has proffesional interests in military and commercial jets as well as space exploration.
