Trea is a sophomore at the University of Alabama at Birmingham majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Military http://universityinnovation.org/extensions/WYSIWYG/ckeditor/skins/kama/images/noimage.png?t=B49E5BQSciences. Trea is most passionate about medicine and helping people in any way. Having moved to Birmingham, AL from Pass Christian, MS, Trea has taken an interest in entrepreneurship and design thinking. Since the second half of his freshman year at UAB, Trea has spent his time developing a program designed to connect students, local physicians in academic medical centers, and biomedical device companies in an enriching fashion in order to improve the way medical devices are created using empathy as the basis for inspiring functionality.
