William "Will" Walker, Jr. (he/him) is an alumnus of the University of Richmond and a former University Innovation Fellow. As a student at the University of Richmond, Will pursued and completed a Bachelor's degree in Leadership Studies, with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS). He was also one course shy of completing the requirements for a minor in English. As a student leader at the University of Richmond, Will was passionate and vocal about institutional innovation aimed at transforming the university experience for students with underrepresented identities. Evidence of his leadership during this time can be found in the editorials he published in the university's student-run newspaper, as well as in his multiple leadership positions. For example, Will proudly served as the editor-in-chief of Forum Magazine, a resident assistant, a Bonner Scholar, a member of the Richmond College Student Government Association, a student Writing Consultant/Coach, a student-staff member of UR Athletics, and a Peer Mentor through the PAM program.

Since graduating from the University of Richmond in 2021, Will has completed a master of Science degree in education from Indiana University — Bloomington and is now working toward a Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Georgia.
