Bio

Zoe Leunissen is a University Innovation Fellow at Marshall University majoring in Accounting. She combines her passion for business, leadership, and innovation to make a positive impact on campus and in her community. She currently serves as Secretary of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society that recognizes academic excellence and leadership among top business students.

Zoe's leadership journey began while employed at a local restaurant, where she discovered her love for teamwork, problem-solving, and motivating others. Her experience in management sparked her interest in understanding how leadership and organizational culture shape success—both in business and education.

As a University Innovation Fellows candidate, Zoe is passionate about helping students at Marshall better navigate their academic journeys by making support resources more visible, accessible, and engaging. She hopes to use her accounting background and leadership experience to bridge the gap between structure and creativity—empowering students to take ownership of their success.
