Rev: Ithaca Startup Works

An off-campus business incubator co-founded by Ithaca College alongside Cornell University and Tompkins Cortland Community College. Rev offers mentorship, workspace, networking, and startup support for entrepreneurs at all stages. Through Rev’s Demo Day, Ithaca College students primarily from the School of Business gain real world exposure by pitching their ventures to experienced professionals, mentors, and potential investors. In addition,Rev provides seed funding opportunities and resources to any student or community member who applies, making it a critical asset for students pursuing scalable venture opportunities.

The Innovation Scholars Program

Housed within the School of Humanities and Sciences, this program offers a structured minor that cultivates innovative thinking through interdisciplinary coursework, community engagement, and capstone projects focused on sustainability and social justice. While not strictly a startup accelerator, the program empowers students to identify social or environmental problems and design innovative, research-based solutions, often in collaboration with local community partners.

Core Trading Consultants (CTC)

In terms of campus based entrepreneurial clubs and experiences, the Core Trading Consultants (CTC) is a student run organization operating within the Business School, serving approximately 25 students annually. CTC allows business students to gain practical experience in financial trading, investment strategy, and real time decision making essential skills for startup founders managing budgets or pursuing fintech innovation.
