Ryan Ohneiser is a Psychology major at James Madison University with a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. Outside the classroom, he enjoys walking his dog, reading, and exploring new ideas.

Ryan works part-time as a Student Venture Consultant for the JMU Center for Entrepreneurship, where he connects students and faculty to campus business development resources and provides consulting for viable business ideas. His firsthand experience in the start-up world began when he pursued a venture of his own after taking Management 472: Venture Creation, a course that introduced him to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and offered invaluable mentorship from seasoned entrepreneurs.

Last year, Ryan was one of two students selected to be a Research Assistant for Dr. Richard West in the JMU Department of Graduate Psychology. He assisted in the development of research culminating in a Comprehensive Assessment of Rational Thinking (CART) paper with funding from the John Templeton Foundation and editorial support from MIT Press.
