This is a great guide!! I'm inspired to share a similar set of learnings from hosting the Connected Futures Forum event in 2022 and link it here!

Hello I am Natalia Medina and I study at Loyola University Maryland I read this article and it was very informative. I am the treasurer of the Association of Latinx students in my school and an active member of other organizations. With these positions it comes the responsibility of event planning and I am very glad to have read this and share the knowledge with my board to put some in practice to get more students in our event.

Holding events is an important part of reaching out to people and can create a lot of activity and engagement around what you want to convey, either it being innovation, charity, or a social event for members of an organization. However, to reach out to people, they must attend the events you are organizing. Learning the tricks and tips to help get a bigger turnout at your events is very useful information, both in regards to the work we are going to do with UIF or in other roles in other organizations.

This article was very encouraging. It provides clear and logical tips to engage your audience, maximize success and so much more. As I have been preparing an event of my own for my fellow peers on campus, it is easy to get discouraged due to fear or just simply being unprepared. I will definitely use these tips as I prepare to further engage with students on campus.

This is a great resource because it doesn't matter how awesome of an event you plan if you can't get people to come to it!

I have been to many events and the major issue I have found about those event is that, they lack the proper way of doing a proper advertising for their event. This article helps in understanding what needs to be do correctly in order to have more audience. After reading this article, I could reach out to those people and tell them what they should in order to get more audiences.

This is something I find really helpful! One problem we have been facing this year is getting everyone engaged, so having resources help fix that is awesome!
